The care, guidance and support in our school is excellent and we pride ourselves in knowing every child’s abilities and needs.
Our staff are well trained to deal with the pastoral and social needs of our children. We have trained Rainbow counsellors on staff as well as a Counsellor who visits the school each week. Families may be supported by the Parent Support Advisor and the school works closely with ‘First Contact’ services and the Education Welfare Officer.
Several members of staff are trained in specific medical procedures for children with identified needs. Most staff have some form of First Aid training, from basic to enhanced.
Our school is accessible to all of its users, it is a new building which is all on one level. We have specific disabled toilets and access throughout the school.
