Autumn Disco

Last week we held an amazing autumn disco.
Our dedicated Friends of the School team organised hot dogs, sweets, crafts and a disco!  A  huge thank you must go to Alex Atherton (AA Entertainments) and Pena Entertainments who gave up their time to support school. The children had an amazing night and were thoroughly entertained!

Chocolate Workshop

Class 4 have had a great day with David from Xocolat. He has shown the children how to taste chocolate correctly as well as show them how chocolate is made, where it comes from and how important Fairtrade is to the coco farmers. Finally we got to design and make our own lollipops!

Big Play

Today Durham Music service held their annual ‘Big Play’ where music groups across the county were asked to take part.  Together with Miss Parker our singing teacher, some of the children performed ‘Three Little Birds’ as part of the event.  We hope you enjoy it as much as we do!
